The Path to Nisan, Branch Here the path splits into two, one to the , the other to the . Neither appear to be straight, as they curve and twist their way through the grasslands; both only simple, dirt worn and sanded pathways. To the the road begins to curve out of Nisan's borders. Contents: Ryukumu(#807PLBJ) Bart Roger_Corbey Keringale (Gear) Duermod-"Grand Titan" Ryukumu nods to greet Margie as she enters Bart glances ovr his shoulder, then turns around to greet Margie from speaking with Roger. He raises one hand in greeting, and speaks in a nicer tone then in recent days. "Hey, Margie." He lowers his hand, and then crosses his arms over his chest. "We've been meaning to talk to you..." Ryukumu watches Bart and Margie Roger_Corbey nods, leaning back some. Margie walks southward down the pathway, smiling lightly as she catches sight of them. She hurries her pace a bit, stopping before the group of them. She casts Bart a somewhat confused look, asking simply, "Hm? What do you mean?" Bart shuffles his feet a little, but keeps his eye contact with Margie. Bart says, "Well, because of what happened the other day, with the Yggdrasil, we're taking to drastic measures, here." Bart picks his right hand up, and points his thumb over his shoulder, towards Bledavik. "I've been going through our scrolls, and I think we may have found something..." He squints his eye a bit, and points into Nisan. "You ever heard of my family's Mausoleum?" Margie nods faintly, tilting her head ever so lightly in quiet curiosity. Her seemingly ever-present grin fades slightly into confusion as she nods, "Well, yes... But.." She shakes her head, a shade confused, "What are you planning to do? What are you talking about?" Ryukumu flips through his map book, listening in on the conversation. Roger_Corbey just keeps listening... Bart looks upwards, as if he was searching the back of his mind. Then he looks down to Margie again. "Well, I've showed you the scrolls we keep over in our hideout, right?" Margie nods a bit, getting an.. inkling of a thought about what he's getting to, but not about to openly assume, "Well, yes..." Bart waves his hand a bit in a circular motion, trying to express what he's thinking off. "Rememeber that legend... eh, about how there's this..." He picks up his other hand and holds them in front of him, trying to give a picture of what he's speaking of. "About that big old vault, where the Fatima Jasper is supposedly held?" Margie nods slowly, biting her lip gently as she recalls this particular tale, "Well, yes, I do recall some legend formed about those lines, but..." She shifts her weight lightly, "You.. you think that the vault spoken of in that little legend is.. here?" Ryukumu has left. Bart scratches the back of his head, wishing she didn't burst his bubble of almost-being-sure. "Well... I guess. It would only make sense, I mean. This whole.." He clears his throat a bit, trying to get off the topic quickly. "This whole arranged marriage thing in the Fatima bloodline, it was to protect the Jasper, right? And, since Nisan hasn't moved in the last thousand years..." Ryukumu has arrived. And, since Nisan hasn't moved in the last thousand years..." Roger_Corbey has disconnected. Ryukumu raises his hand about to say something, but doesn't interrupt. Roger_Corbey sits on the foot of his Duermod, looking his SMG over. Roger_Corbey slides a new clip in and looks up. "Makes sense, then." Ryukumu nods in agreement now having heard this You say, "You... think that its here, then." She pauses for a moment, musing over the idea for a moment before continuing, "Well.. It.. It COULD be here, I suppose.. And perhaps there could be a clue or a tie-in to the Mausoleum.. But It IS a legend.." Roger_Corbey says, "...And? It's about as good an option as we're going to get for a long time." You say, "Well, what.. what are you going to do if it turns out to be little more?" Bart nods before Margie can finish, at the mention of a tie-in. "There's quite a few references to 'burial' and 'resting places' of it...: Roger_Corbey looks over at Bart. "Up to him, mostly." Bart shrugs and shakes his head. "Attach wheels to our house? We're running out of options." Roger_Corbey says, "Actually...that might have some nice uses." Ryukumu has disconnected. Margie nods slowly, then adds, a bit less skeptically, a moment later, "Well.. It couldn't possibly hurt to do a bit of investigating!" Roger_Corbey vaults off the foot of the Gear. "My thoughts exactly." Bart smirks a bit and pokes Margie in the shooulder, and then leans back onto his heels. "Sure you can handle it, Margie? It may get a little..." He grins. "Creepy.: Margie frowns stubbornly a bit, although its obviously all in good humor, "Creepy? Not at all! I can deal with a little Mausoleum!" She adds a small moment later, a bit more happilly, "Besides, I want to see this legendary vault, too!" Bart raises his eyebrow. "Heh, if you insist then..." He leans foward, standing flat on his feet now. "No better time then the present, right?" Roger_Corbey rests his SMG against his right shoulder. "Ready whenever you are." Margie nods lightly, chiming simply, "If everyone else is ready to go, I certainly am!" Elly has arrived. Bart looks over Margie's head, into the city. He spins around to Roger, and gestures towards the city. "Let's mosey!" Bart has left. Roger_Corbey has left. The Path to Nisan, North This is where the pathway comes to an end, at the base of the city of . The view from here is gorgeous to say the least- as from here you can see the entire layout of the town. Built in nearly a circle about one roughly spherical lake, the town dots its way in clumps about the shimmered lake. A single road leads above the lake, a bridge to the small island in its center- where a truly massive and unspeakably ornate cathedral lays. To the the path begins to lead away from Nisan. Contents: Roger_Corbey Bart Roger_Corbey says, "Say it right.." Bart says, "Eh?" Roger_Corbey says, "You sound like a cow-herder from around Lahan with that "mosey" bit." Bart wrinkles his nose, and shakes his head. "Nah..." Margie giggles quietly. Bart has left. Roger_Corbey has left. Elly has arrived. Elly has left. Nisan, Southern Road This is the most southern part of the town of Nisan, the base where the to Nisan meets the fully-paved, pale and dully colored religious town of Nisan at the sign of a small flight of stairs into the town. This is a rather dull view from here, compared to the one of the town in full, as nothing truly stands here spare a few benches off to the side, and the tall bronze statue of the Nisan Cross which stands to greet all newcommers. The town winds its way off to the . Contents: Elly Roger_Corbey Bart Elly walks on into the city, seeing Bart and Roger. "..? Hi guys..." Roger_Corbey says, "Nice time to happen into us. We're heading off to check into something." Bart looks around the city, and then turns his head to Margie. He rubs the back of his neck and says. "Where is it? In the cathedral?" You say, "The.. The Mausoleum?" She shakes her head lightly at the thought, answering swiftly, "Oh, no, not at all! Its tucked away behind the Cathedral, actually.. You actually have to take a seperate path to get there." Roger_Corbey seems interested. Roger_Corbey says, "So that's where it goes?" Bart runs his hand through his hair. "Behind the lake?" Margie nods a bit, "Exactly. You know of that path, then..?" Bart nods and smiles to himself. "I haven't been back there since I was little, heh... I used to send these boats out into the water with fireworks attached to them..." Bart chuckles a little. "Playing navy." Margie smiles a bit at this, laughing quietly at the thought, "Oh, I bet the sisters didn't like that much..." Bart nods vigorously. "Oh, you bet." He starts walking towards the lake. "Come on." Roger_Corbey follows. Bart has left. Outer Nisan, Northern Peak You have the strangest feeling that something should be here.... Although whatever it is must be hidden quite well from sight. This site seems quite silent, serene, and strangely mysterious- as if it held a bright secret of a most grim tone. With a sigh, you realize that you can go off to the or the from here. Contents: Elly Roger_Corbey Bart Bart turns his head to Margie. "Here?" Roger_Corbey looks around..."I saw this once. You've got to be kidding me." Margie nods a bit, "This is it..-" She blinks a bit, glancing over to Roger, "Hm? What do you mean?" Roger_Corbey says, "I've been standing right in front of it the whole time? I passed here once, didn't notice a thing." Bart walks around the area, tapping the rock with his boots. He shakes his head slowly. "Whatta they do, keep it hidden?" Margie nods, "Well, the Mausoleum is.. Well, sacred. Of COURSE its hidden!" She casts a grin, "Can't have any grave robbers running around here now, could we?" Roger_Corbey says, "Certainly not." Bart bangs the rock twice with the left of his fist. "Well, then..." Roger_Corbey reminds himself what their reason for being here is, as he starts prodding along the path with his feet... Roger_Corbey says, "Maybe it's a hidden hatchway. One of those types kind of like in a loft." Elly looks around the area quietly... "Hmm..." Bart takes a step back and looks down at the ground. He taps his foot, testing it. He then looks up to Roger. "I can't tell..." Roger_Corbey says, "Actually, I have a better idea. High Explosives. That, or metal detection gear." You say, "E-explosives?" She glances at Roger, somewhat startled, "Oh, come on, there has to be a less destructive way to find it!" Bart wrinkles his brow, and shakes his head at Roger's idea. "Aw, calm down, Roger... I'm sure Margie knows the way." He peers to Margie. "Right?" Elly looks over at Margie, "Um...you do know where we're going, don't you...?" Margie pauses for a long moment then answers, a bit awkwardly, "Well... I believe I probably know.. At least, I hope I remember correctly.." Roger_Corbey grins. "I like making an entrance, but I think I'll save the explosives for a 'special occasion'. Bart bangs the ground a bit harder, with his heel. "Feels odd." Elly steps around, looking at the rocks and feeling around, "Maybe...a secret switch somewhere?" Margie hums softly to herself, taking a few steps away from the group of them. She faces a small bit of rock, completely innocent looking in every expect and then, strangely enough, draws back a foot and lightly kicks it. The resounding sound is nothing like simple stone, as she smiles softly, "Found it." Roger_Corbey looks over, suprised. Roger_Corbey says, "Glad you found it.." Elly walks over to Margie, her face brightening just a tad bit more than what she's been like for the past week or so. "Are you sure this is it...?" Bart looks around, still not seeing any change. "Eh...?" Roger_Corbey looks around some more... Bart crosses his arms and surveys the rock. "Does it slide open or something?" Roger_Corbey climbs down the access, wary.. Roger_Corbey has left. Elly says, "Well, that sort of explains it..." Bart has left. Elly has left. Below Nisan, Stairway This steep, and seemingly never-ending stairway is cut into pure rock. It descends for quite a bit, darkening as it goes. The stairs are covered in carpetting, yet the walls and ceilings are much more bleak. You can continue the stairs, or back into the sunlight. Contents: Elly Bart Roger_Corbey Elly climbs down, hopping off down to the floor. She immediately takes out her staff and looks around behind Roger... Bart holds his hand out to Roger, and lightly pushes down his gun. "Come on, what could go wrong? This place was sealed up..." Roger_Corbey re-readies it. "For centuries, or millennia was it? I'm just being cautious. Margie makes her way down rather carefully, hopping down to the floor with a resonating little thud. She blinks at Roger, shaking her head lightly, "How could anyone or anything still be down here?" Roger_Corbey says, "Just being careful. Now, shall we proceed?" Roger_Corbey rests his SMG once more, deciding to end the debate. Bart sighs, and draws his hand back. He taps his foot a bit, not fully able to see the ground. "It's well built, obviously..." Bart shrugs. "Yeah, let's get going." Roger_Corbey has left. Bart has left. Margie nods and begins to make her way down the stairs. Underground Mausoleum The mausoleum is built out of a huge cave, which has been revamped with metal floors and lighting. A large circular walkway surround the edge of the massive cave, with reliefs and large tombs on the walls all the way around, each one built for a member of the Fatima bloodline. The lighting is dim, yet still illuminates the inky darkness of the cave. Another walkway leads , descending a bit, while the stairs continue wards, into the sunlight. Contents: Bart Roger_Corbey Elly has arrived. Roger_Corbey looks around... Roger_Corbey says, "...Impressive setup." Bart sniffs the air, and wrinkles his nose. "Smells like a closet in here..." He surveys the area, and places his hands on his hips, before wandering around a bit, examaning the graves. "A tad morbid, eh?" Elly looks around slowly at the tombs, studying each one her eye passes. Margie glances slowly about the area, shivering ever so softly, "Its... Kinda cold down here, isn't it..?" She looks around, "Its... actually very impressive, really..." Roger_Corbey shakes his head. "What cold?" Bart turns around and faces Margie. "It's called a cave, Margie... and yeah, they're usually cold." Margie blinks at Roger and then stubbornly adds, "Well...it is!" She then casts a glance at Bart, "I knew that! I was just mentioning it, that's all." She then sighs, turning her attention around the room, Roger_Corbey says, "Something tells me this isn't it." Elly says, "Should we search further inside?" Bart turns his head to Roger. "Well... any sugestions, then?" Roger_Corbey says, "I think Elly said it best." Bart eyes the walkway, not having noticed it. "Oh, erm... yeah..." Bart takes a few steps towards it, eying the tombs all around. "A lot of history here, huh." Roger_Corbey peers down the hall.. "Yeah." Bart says, "Shall we?" Bart has left. Fort Jasper Entrance The metal walkway comes to a halt here, ending in a dirt floor. The lighting is gone, but the room is still illuminated by some light escaping from the mausoleum. The rock walls are more jagged, and roughly cut, but the center of attention here is the northern wall. It's a large piece of rounded metal, smooth and shiny. There is an obvious hatch in it, although it is sealed up rather tightly. A small panel, with what looks like a viewport, hangs down from the ceiling, with buttons and such all over it. Somehow, it may be possible to continue to the , and the mausoleum is always to the . Contents: Bart Elly has arrived. Roger_Corbey has arrived. Bart runs his hand over the huge metal wall. "Something tells me that this IS it." Elly walks over and taps lightly on the metal with her rod. She looks for a moment at it before walking back towards the others. Margie blinks slowly, gawking softly at the sight before her. Simply, she mutters, under her breath, as confused as she is amazed.., "What... what IS this?" Bart turns around, and continues to look around the room, speaking to Margie although not looking at her. "It looks like another cave, Margie." Margie frowns a bit, lightly annoyed, "Well, I can SEE that, Bart!" She taps the metal gently, "I was refering to all this, though... And that." She glances over at the sealed up hatch before them. Roger_Corbey walks over to the hatch, looking it over.. Bart crosses his arms and looks up at it. "How do we open it?" Roger_Corbey says, "By force?" Elly says, "Maybe...a switch?" Roger_Corbey says, "Or a switch might work too. The entrance was hidden.." Margie shakes her head, "Force? Oh, there has to be a nicer way.. Like..." She glances around a bit, looking for something that might grant a better answer. Roger_Corbey says, "Who's to say they wouldn't of hid the other accesses?" Bart sighs at his himself, and looks at the very-obvious control panel. he points and says simply. "Or that." Margie nods, pointing to this panel Bart is glancing at, "Well yes, that might work, too." Roger_Corbey shrugs and heads to it.. Bart takes one look at it, then turns his head to Roger. "Er, Can you make sense of it?" Roger_Corbey takes a look at it.. Roger_Corbey taps a few sections of the panel...
