Terminal Confusion: Who's Attacking Who in the Gebler

It's a good thing that Solaris is a city in the sky.

For one thing, half the time it seems that one branch of the government is pitted against the other, with the rumors of Krelian going against Cain, Cain going against the Ministry, Cain and Krelian's personal guards distrustful and trusting one another nigh-randomly, a former member of the Ministry sending snakes to attack Cain's replacement, Dominia glaring at Miang, and half of the Solarian spies spying on each other...

It's almost enough to make a -Lamb- stop and stare.

As a note, these logs were demanded in large amounts from various RPers, and so are old, contain large amount of minor conversations, etc, etc. They have been edited for spoilers for some people, but we may not have picked up all of them. If you are in one of these logs and want a part (or the entire thing) removed, simply ask Dominia or Kelvena. It's that simple. (^_^)

Logs:

The Elements: Having nothing better to do most of the time, the Elements entertain themselves in various ways. They also get shot at, stalked, plot, and plotted against.

A Pretty Bird for the Pretty Bird.: After happily terrifying Dominia, Senchei compounds the effect by sending her new 'favorite' a bird with its wings clipped. Ramsus tries to counsel Dominia against being affected by Senchei's words. As a note, during this scene, the definition of 'clipped' was uncertain to the RPers. In short, it's a method which is nonpermanent and painless. However, this doesn't stop Ramsus or Dominia from being repulsed by the 'gift'. (4/28/00))
Shall we have a game?: Kelvena speaks with the resident psychologist, Dr. Luka Kalval, about some advice for another. The two discuss psychology in depth for a time, before parting on the offer for a chess game. (5/21/00))
Go Find Meaning that Isn't.: There's an explanation for the prelude of this scene, which is something like: Miriam is taking a bath in Ramsus's bathroom. Senchei surprises her and talks cheerfully about killing her, before Kelvena interrupts them both by knocking on the door. Senchei orders Miriam to keep silent, and then... deals with Kelvena in the outer rooms. Senchei warns Kelvena away in so many words, Kelvena allows Senchei her name, and thankfully, Ramsus comes in at the end and cuts an already spoiler-ridden logs into pieces, ending it. This is also the log that starts off Kelvena being stalked in her own bathtub, come to think of it. (x_X) (5/28/00))
...I'm Still Safe With You, Aren't I?: After Senchei leaves, Miriam is free to come out of hiding. Kelvena meets Miriam briefly, and Ramsus and Miriam talk about test subjects and programmed behavior before the Commander has to leave again. (5/28/00))
Don't You Recognize Your Good Friend, Kelvena?: Kelvena might want to reconsider letting Senchei use her name. (o_o) One day, Dominia goes down to the Solarian Lounge. And encounters, who else, but Senchei... wearing one of her very own Element uniforms. Clarth and Kenji look on before Asher decides to come in and try to force Senchei away. (5/29/00))
It Doesn't Matter, Does It.: Miriam, meanwhile, continues to make her way around Solaris while trying to keep from worrying anyone. Kelvena encounters her in the halls, and the two eat while talking about the future, and just what Ramsus had in mind while bringing up another soul under his wing. (5/29/00))
Away from the Lounge...: Wonder where Dominia and Ramsus went after that scene in the lounge with Senchei? Ramsus offers Dominia a cookie, and they talk once more about the creature that seems to terrorize Dominia by giving her gifts. (5/30/00))
You could say that I know him.: Just taken up to Solaris, and not quite certain of what is to occur to her, Miriam goes to find dinner eventually in the Dining Hall with Kelvena. Clarth is there with Ryukumu as his trainee, and conversations make their way back and forth. ((6/2/00))
You want me to counteract /who/?: Concerned about Ramsus's mental health, Kelvena asks Luka for assistance in analyzing a few events. Luka, meanwhile, does not particularly relish the idea of facing off against Miang, with Kahr's sanity at stake. ((6/4/00))
What an End to Elru.: Senchei makes yet another visit to Dominia's quarters... and Dominia, by now, allows her in and even offers her painkillers. Senchei is intent on finishing the conversation from the Lounge that Asher interrupted, and she does so with her usual style... known as, 'traumitizing Dominia even further'. ((6/11/00))
Is this all we talk about?: Kelvena returns the books borrowed from Luka, arriving late enough to see, and speak with, a rather exhausted Doctor. Kelvena plans out ways to check on Miang's mental stability, Luka adds her advice, and Kelvena mentions that her computer has picked up a virus. ((6/12/00))
/Evil/? We All Fight for What We Believe In!: Without orders from Ramsus to do anything else, Dominia finds herself assigned to border patrol near Nisan. To make that situation worse, she runs into Fei in the bargain. Understandably... things go downhill from there. ((?/?/00))
He Should Not Trouble You Again.: After Dominia's encounter with Fei, the Element unhappily returns to Solaris, and happens to run into Luka in the Gear Bay. Luka asks after Dominia and events, and comes to a decision about the Elements who are suffering from an absent Ramsus. Amusingly, the true fate of the officer mentioned here was chronicled in the second Solarian Sleepover, a quiet affair that was... still creepy. (^_^) ((7/8/00))
Did you just... /swear/, Doctor?: Kelvena seeks out Luka again, who is sitting in the Ezekiel Lounge with Asher, Sirus and Kiara, fresh from one of her 'treatments'. After helping Luka back to her quarters, Kelvena and the doctor talk about psychology again before turning to Miang once more. ((7/20/00))
The Best in Town.: Kelvena finds Har and Miriam in Luka's Waiting Room, and takes advantage of the encounter to ask Har for help with her computer. Afterwards, Miriam and Har invite Kelvena to dinner. Friends? Kelvena? Hmm. ((8/19/00))
The Elements Go Shopping!: In a frenzy of odd holiday spirit, Luka decides to shop in Bledavik for everyone's gifts instead of just sticking to Solaris. Sage, Talon, Seraphita and Tolone all do a little browsing, Tsukai lurks around to plot briefly with Sigurd, and then Sigurd breaks Luka's gift! (X_X) (12/20/00))
Strangers in the Desert: Just who /are/ those two people in the Aveh desert, casually walking around and talking to Tolone as if they were her good friends? A very strange scene, and one that hints to plots just out of sight. ((12/24/00))
They Offered Me a Boon...: After Tolone's encounter in Aveh, the Wind Element is shaken enough to come to Kelvena to try and straighten out her thoughts. ((12/30/00))
None of Us Work in a Void.: While, ironically, Ramsus and Dominia had not spoken in some time, the Commander attempts to remedy this and catch up with what the Element of Earth has been up to of late. And to tell Dominia of his wishes for Jasper... ((1/26/01))
It is a Muddled World.: Ramsus and, of all people, Billy, happen to meet on the bridge to Nisan's Cathedrel. They talk about life and the world, about people and society, and, of course, about peace. ((2/10/01))

Ramsus and the Lambs:

Why do you fight, Kahran?: Ramsus encounters a Lamb upon the streets of Nisan. Normally this would be nothing new, but this Lamb... seems to know him by his first name. Miriam asks Ramsus the Nisan Question(tm) for the first time, and Khiea and Sigurd show up. ((3/28/00))
You again?: In Dazil, Ramsus meets briefly with Miriam again, this time with Kyle and Michael_Fenn in the area. ((3/29/00))
We find what we want. And run after it...: Out in the desert of Aveh, Sigurd and Ramsus meet with Miriam and Kyle, who apparently are out there for some conversation... resulting in minor crater in the sand dunes. After Kyle and Sigurd leave, Roni shows up, just in time to see some rather strange conversation occur between Ramsus and Miriam. ((3/30/00))
Kahran Had a Little Lamb.: Fitting that this log would show up on April Fool's. (-_-) Kyle takes up Miriam for a test flight in Lycanthrope, but the two become... stuck, somehow, in the Ezekiel Gear Bay with no way to get out (aka, Muck error). Meanwhile, Ramsus runs around in a rabbit suit. On the serious note, Miriam and Ramsus have another chat, while a very upset Sigurd appears. ((4/1/00))
You Are No Less a Human Being...: As often as Ramsus wanders upon the surface, rarely does he come across a Lamb willing to call him out and routinely challenge his beliefs. On yet another encounter in the town of Dazil, Miriam and Kahr talk. ((4/13/00))
Propeganda, all of it. On a different note, Ramsus stops by Luka's offices, after his time for checkups comes up. The two jest for a short time before Ramsus decides that he requires a good night's sleep before any therapy. ((5/5/00))
I Remember a Man...: Nisan's Cathedral has another conversation in store for Ramsus and Miriam. (Actually, this log was on the Murders page... I wonder how it got here.) ((5/10/00))
I am Anything. I am Everything.: On his way through Nisan to search for a missing Miang, Ramsus encounters a strange woman who identifies him easily by name. Senchei and Kahr sit upon a rooftop of Nisan and have a conversation--but this one is quite different than the type Ramsus has with Miriam. Warning: Senchei character spoilers. ((5/18/00))
You shouldn't have to bear the indignities of rats...: Senchei and Talon have a varied amount of discussion before Julian decides to insert himself into the middle of it. Ramsus appears, in a /very/ strange mood, and immedietely Senchei shows her true colors... or does she only seek to distract a potentially lethal Kahran from toying with Talon and Julian? Or neither one? Either way, Senchei and Ramsus are left alone to talk in the desert sands around Dazil. ((6/9/00))
There's Beauty Where the Pendulum Swings.: Having health problems of her own, Miriam tries to put her exhaustion aside to speak with a rare visit from Ramsus, who has apparently decided to simply store Miriam in his own rooms for now. ((6/12/00))
You need to get out more, Kahr.: After Miriam was brought up to Solaris under Ramsus's protection, she ends up running around with his jacket for the better part of a few months. The two talk about clothes and dinner. ((6/23/00))
Oh, you mean /this/ jacket?: In the middle of dinner with Kahr, at Bledavik's balcony tables, Miriam goes downstairs to fetch another bottle of wine. On the way, she encounters a man named Calif... who recognizes her coat. ((7/7/00))
Posh boy out lookin' pretty, eh?: Wandering through Bledavik, Ramsus narrowly misses having one of the many street urchins attempt to pick his pocket. In exchange, however, he gets a strange lecture on class structures from a woman named Tolen. ((7/16/00))

Former Companions: Elements of Days Past

I Am Hardly Interesting.: Citan, on the outskirts of Lahan, takes a few minutes to check up on his Gear. Julian, however, decides to stop by and talk to him, Talon also arrives, and then Kale appears to request directions, just before Julian outright demands information from the Doctor. Emeralda also appears on a search for Citan. ((7/2/00))
He Hasn't Changed...: Jessie and Citan, both recently returned to the Desert Base, meet in the Dining Hall to catch up. Maison and Sigurd arrive, Elly visits, and discussion over Rico's recent imprisonment ensues. ((7/18/00))
Someone Decided to Have a Reunion?: Sigurd, out listening to the drumming of desert nomads, is joined by Maison and Sigurd. The peace is broken by Bart and Jessie, who arrive and break into an arguement. Elly arrives and the conversation briefly returns to Rico, but not in time to save a few nerves. ((7/20/00))
The Youngsters Today are All the Same...: Jessie and Miriam run into each other under the shadow of Dazil's Water Tower. Or at least, they begin to... until Julian arrives and ignites Jessie's temper. ((7/24/00))
Now that we're all aquainted...: After her Gear is damaged by Bart Missiles, in an encounter between Cobalt Wing, the Yggdrasil, and Kale in the Aveh Desert, Miriam flies to the Ethos for repairs. Ramsus accompanies her to protect her from further Lambs, but they meet a certain individual on the Ethos beach... and Jessie seems equally displeased to see them. ((8/8/00))
What is Your Price for Silence?: Jessie and Miriam clash once more, this time in the Ethos Gardens. Luckily, or possibly unluckily, Fei is there to keep the situation from turning into anything more than a glare or two between them both. Fei seems to have enough problems of his own at the time, however. ((8/18/00))
