Entrance of Dazil You stand at the front of a small, stone gate which marks the entrance to the small desert city of Dazil. White, sandblasted buildings seem to fade into the sands, and boxes lie scattered about the land without reason or any hint of organization. The whole town seems like a mirage created out of thirst and dreadful heat. The marks the return of the desert. Poised between two huge stone arches, designed to serve as both bridges from one side of town to the other, as well as shade for those beneath them, lie the to the Dazil Guard Station, and the Hunter Assoc., set up across from it. To the the town continues to where a huge, metalic creation stands. Contents: Abishai Alliah Alliah's Sandbuggy (vehicle) Jarian Keringale (Gear) Garaza (Gear) Kawatta Daos Kawatta says, "the news is I have gone to nortune with Daos and we participated in battleing evets, I won 2 matches, Daos won 1" Daos leans up against Keringale, looking around at people. Jarian nods and smiles at the Etone as she arrives. Daos looks up (I know, i'll practice.) Alliah smirks. "Won against Daos, huh? Doesn't seem like such a hard task." Daos takes out a long steel pipe from behind his cape and goes into his battle stance, swinging it at every occasion towards an invisible enemy. Kadrina strolls down the streets of Dazil slowly, her steps softly fluid. At the sign of the small gathering of people, she grants a pleasant, faint smile, and grants simply, "Ah, good day, my friends. Could one of you, perhaps, direct me in the direction of the Ethos Shop here?" Daos heard the comment, and narrows his eyes (of course, so it begins...) Kawatta says, "actually he put up a very good fight, tore the armor of my Gear's right arm, but his Gear over heated" Alliah sighs in Daos' general direction. "Kawatta, why does he always have that silly pipe with him?" Daos stops and bows towards Kadrina, "good day miss." Abishai shows up near the gate. Alliah looks around, trying to recall where the Ethos workshop is. Alliah says, "South? No, east." Kadrina smiles softly and nods, granting a faint half-bow in responce, "Good day, sir." Kawatta says, "I belive it is in the more western parts of te city" Daos thinks for a second, "Alliah might know..," and upon hearing her reply, groans, "I don't remember..." Jarian smiles. "I can show you, Miss." Alliah reaches into her pocket and withdraws a microchip. "Bah, Ethos workshop.. don't got no use for them. Look at this. Finely crafted microchip. Sure, I have absolutely no idea what it does, but it's in excellent condition, it's old, and they offered to pay me garbage for it." Kadrina 's eyes light up at this responce as she turns swiftly to face Jarian, grinning brightly, "Oh really? I would be quite grateful if you told me of where I could find it. I have a bit of business to attend you, you see." Daos sighs, (ugh) and returns to his battle stance, swinging it again at random... Jarian nods. "Come with me. I'll take you there. Abishai remains silent and observes the scene. Alliah rolls her eyes at Daos. "Kawatta, can you tell him to STOP that? It's annoying." Jarian nods at Abishai. Kadrina frowns softly, taking a few steps towards Alliah as she casts a light, curious glance at the contraption she holds, "A moment, Jarian." She glances up at Alliah, tilting her head slightly, "It is in amazing contition. They honestly wouldn't give you anything for it?" Kawatta says, "how is it anoyying?" Daos begins to mock chant a Soul Magic, and points at invisible enemy, a weak bolt striking an invisible area, and continues his dance. Alliah sighs deeply, looking defeated, and she steps toward Kadrina. "Well, they'll only pay me like, three-thousand for it when I've sold chips newer than this and more useless than this for over five. I don't know why they're being so cheap about it. I think I'll hang on to it and gloat about it when it turns out to be a supercharger ether magnifying target chip." Kawatta blinkies Daos stops for a second, groans, and continues. (It's expected...) Alliah shakes her head at Daos. "Must you show off in front of the rest of us? I don't think the young Ethos woman will ask you out anytime soon." Kadrina shakes her head lightly, her pale smile never leaving her face, "Ah, is that so? Really, that isn't necessary. But if its use is unknown...." She trails off continuing on with barely a pause, "Well, I could always... look into it for you, if you... eh... lent it to me, of course." She grants a somewhat brilliant grin at this, "After all, I *am* a child of Ethos." stops again, and looks at Alliah, "I am NOT showing off." Jarian thinks o 0 (I don't think that it's the Etone he wants to impress) Alliah grins, but clasps her hand over the chip and puts it back in her pocket. "Nice try, milady, but no one takes things off of me for free. If you want to look into it, I'm going to be right there beside you." Alliah glares back at Daos. "You sure SEEM to be..." Daos groans slightly, "if you must know, i'm practicing, it's a nice diversion when you're bored, and i'll need it later." Daos looks at Abishai, "hey, Abishai!" Abishai says, "Oh.. er, hi Daos." Kadrina shrugs lightly, letting her grin die down to her usual pallid state, "Well, it was worth a try." She takes a single step back, gesturing faintly to herself, "Perhaps I should introduce myself, as I am new to these parts. I'm Kadrina Mistalle, Etone." Alliah lifts an eyebrow. "Diversion when *I*'m bored? You're not trying to show off for ME, are you??" Daos bows again, "it's a pleasure to meet you Kadrina, I am Daos." Daos looks at Alliah, "You never said you were bored, and i'm not showing off!" Jarian smiles. "I am Jarian Lenoir, digger and guide, extraordinare." Daos . o O (Why me?) Abishai says, "I am.. Abishai." Kadrina giggles softly at Daos' little dilemma, shaking her head silently. Alliah says, "I'm Alliah! Alliah Tenador!" She extends her hand in a handshake. "Nice to meet you, Kadrina!!" Kawatta says, "Kawatta Heishi, one of the few surviving members of the 12th Aveh Airborn Gear Division." Alliah winces at Daos. "People who show off don't first ask, "Are you bored?"" She shakes her head. Daos smiles, (Etone..? It sounds like something to do with Ethos...but what is it?) Kadrina then glances up, nodding lightly to the mass of people before her, "Oh, I had no idea people in the east were so friendly! I expected a soul or two to point out the Workshop and shoo me away, but...-" She blinks, almost startled at Alliah, then simply grants a grin, taking her hand in a small handshake, "Nice to meet you, Alliah." Daos looks at Alliah, "Wha? I don't understand you and never will!" Alliah tips her nonexistant hat. "No problem! No problem at all!!!" Jarian smiles and shakes his head... "Well, I learned early on that it always pays to be nice." Jarian offers his hand to Kadrina. Abishai looks to Kadrina, "So, you are an Etone?" Daos smiles, "I guess we're all friendly, well except me and Alliah." Alliah motions toward the ugly city of Dazil. "Well, in Dazil, everyone... almost everyone's nice because of the war. Unifies us, hey? And so we are all nice to people who come along. But... well, but a lot of us are REALLY strange." The hint in her voice leaves no doubt as to who she is talking about. Kadrina nods lightly, granting a soft grin, taking his hand lightly, "Well, its a nice change of pace. You wouldn't imagine how cold some people can be! I had to catch a boat from Aquavy, and my, my... The people on that ship were so very, very self-absorbed, no one cared to even talk about the weather, much less share a conversation...-" Kadrina glances lightly to Alliah, "Why, yes, I am an Etone. Why do you ask? I wouldn't imagine we're too common in these regions, but.." Daos narrows his eyes, then returns hsi look at Kadrina, "What is an Etone?" Jarian smiles and gently raises the pale skinned hand to his lips, then releases it. "Which ship was this? Abishai says, "A special type of Ethos priest, Daos." Alliah lifts an eyebrow. "Aren't Etones the warriors of the Ethos?" Daos smiles and nods, "I see, so you're a priest of Ethos Kadrina?" Alliah looks up at the sky. "The weather here sucks, Kadrina. No one talks about the weather in Dazil." Kadrina blushes softly at Jarian's small gesture, granting a soft little laugh before she responds, "Oh, nothing much... But a simple Ethos ship." She grants a faint nod to Alliah, "Well... yes.. Of course. The Etone are the defenders of the Ethos." Jarian nods. "So, what brings you to Dazil? Ethos business?" Kadrina grants an honest, chiming little laugh, "Oh, so much attention! I'm quite unused to this!" She nods, granting a grin to Daos, "Well, yes. Yes I am. Child and protector of the noble Ethos. My... There really must not be many Etones in this area to cause such a ruckus over little me!" Kawatta looks around the group .oO(a Digger, a salvager, an Etone a preist, a man with unbeknownest powers, and me..the soldier) Daos nods, (I thought Ethos was corrupt...but Kadrina is so nice...weird...she reminds me of Nalia...but..her personality is so differen't...) Kadrina casts a faint shrug to Jarian, "Nothing amazingly dramatic, I fear. I was just sent here to deal with some small business on the matters of Gear salvaging and repairs in this area." Alliah shrugs. "Well, don't get used to it. Not EVERYONE in Dazil is this nice!" Daos . o O (cue mean reference to me...) Jarian nods. 'Well, as I said, I'm a digger here. If I can help you with anything.." Alliah says, "I'm a digger too. I guess I didn't make the clear, but the big-ass sandbuggy with the big-ass crane sort of gives it away..." Kadrina nods lightly, smiling faintly at Jarian, "Well, its much appreciated, but I doubt I'll need much help. I was given somewhat precise orders and directions upon this, and I'm bound to get more as soon as possible." Jarian glances up at Garaza. "Well, I know how it is to have the right equipment. Alliah says, "Orders?" Abishai remains sceptical. Kawatta looks over the group again .oO(indeed there is a weid varity of skills here...) Daos looks at Garaza, (that gear still amazes me...I wonder what ancient things it used to salvage...) Daos shrugs, and begins his dance again, swinging at invisible enemies. His long-term goal clear in his mind. Kadrina nods slowly at Alliah, a somewhat confused look caught in her eyes, "Well, yes. Don't tell me the concept of command is foreign here, too?" She laughs quietly, then shakes her head, continuing on, "Well, like I said, its nothing dramatic. Just a few issues dealing with Gear parts and the like." Abishai says, "Ms. Kadrina, do you know the spell "Seal?"" Alliah smiles. "Orders aren't unfamiliar here. You think that we're all barbarians out east, don't you?" Kadrina blushes softly at Alliah's comment, chuckling nervously under her breath, "Well, I.. I can't really say I know much about these lands, but.. I guess... um....-" She cuts herself off, enthusiastically shifting her gaze to Abishai, a rather perplexled look upon her face, "...'Seal'? Whyever do you ask?" Abishai says, "Just curious, I always wondered how it worked." Alliah leans over to Kadrina. "I think he believes all Ethos can cast ether." Kadrina smirks lightly at Alliah, a faint smugness upon her face as she returns the faint reply, "Most Etones can." Daos begins to chant another mock soul magic, and a small patch of water falls on a small patch of desert. Kadrina glances up strangly at Daos, shaking her head lightly, "I imagine.. Does someone have a little bit too much energy to spend? You seem awfully... um... Hyper." Abishai says, "I'm afraid there hasn't been an Ethos priest or Etone where I'm from in many years." Kawatta seems awufully subdude for some on amongest such company. Daos stops, and turns to Kadrina, "no, i'm just practicing fighting, i'm bored." Jarian smiles. "Well, he does get that way quite often... I just never want to get him mad at me. You say, "Really?" She chimes in swiftly to Abishai, blinking at him rather strangly, "And where would that be?" Alliah motions to Daos. "He's always bored. But I think he's trying to impress you," she whispers. Alliah leans back and winks. Abishai says, "A secluded part of Aquavy." Kadrina nods slowly between Jarian and Daos, then chuckles softly, "Simply because you're bored, eh? Have you ever tried a productive hobby... Like... eh..." She pauses a moment, toying lightly with a strand of her dark brown hair, "...Cross-stitching, maybe?" Kadrina casts something of a mock fearful glance to Alliah in responce. Jarian chuckles... Daos shrugs, "hmmm..." Alliah looks toward Jarian this time. "Yep, I'd watch out for Daos..." Kawatta just stands slightly aback from the rest of the crowd, silent. Daos grits his teeth, "i'll say it again, I'M NOT SHOWING OFF!" Jarian . o O (Well, my dear, I think that neither of you realize how you really feel for each other.) Kadrina giggles quietly, attempting to muffle it as best she can. Daos sighs, groans, and begins to dance again, swinging his pipe... Alliah bites back, "Just like you didn't want to show anyone how you killed NALIA?" She leans back and covers her mouth, giving everyone an extremely coy glance. "Oh, did that slip out?" Abishai thinks that that did more then 'slip out'. Daos stops, "Alliah...that's over and done with, it's something i'd like to forget...I didn't kill Nalia...something else did..." Kawatta looks at Alliah somewhat coldly. Kadrina's glance shoots to Alliah, then to Daos, and back, wide eyed and rather stunned looking, "K-killed..." She clasps her hands lightly, pausing a long moment, her face seemingly consumed in fear for a long moment. Finally, she utters simply, "Oh my." Daos looks down, (the thing within me did...) Alliah rolls her eyes. "WHAT-ever," she states. "He's in denial," she says to the others, motioning to Daos. "Too bad it was right in the middle of the Bledavik incident. It's impossible to incriminate him." Jarian (OOC) goes AFK for a bit. Daos . o O (I hope that monster never comes forth again...I wish I knew what triggered it...) Alliah shakes his head. "I think it was planned. Nalia had just arrested him and he just found out that Khiea was in fact in the cell in Bledavik.. so he had to get away and rescue that dratted brat." Daos . o O (Nalia was the evil one, Kheia wanted to be normal, but she was heartless, she threw her in a cell to rot away so she could get promoted.) Daos . o O (now Kheia's in Solaris, probably scared to freaking death...the only person she knows and is comfortable around being Ikken...) Kadrina blinks softly, staring at Alliah in a terribly perplexed manner, "The Bledavik Incident, eh..." She shifts her weight lightly, apparently in quiet thought. Mouthing softly a few words, barely seen, undefinable otherwise, she backs up a step, clenching the Ethos pendant about her neck gently, "I... I do believe I must be off on my own business now." She states simply, nodding politly to the group, "And the atmosphere has grown a bit to... personal for me to interfere." She then musters up something of a hollow grin and spins to face the street, making her way down it in an ingorant, but nonetheless rushed manner as she begins her own, unaided, quest to find the Ethos Workshop.
