The Elru: One Survivor Alone
Few remember the Elru. Once a proud, yet peaceful and happy people, the Elru were a group of well-tanned, sylvan folk who lived upon a prosperous island well away from humanity. All was well for the Elru. In addition to the natural bounty of their lands, they also had the gift to harness their own emotions as power.
Until one day, a burning creature took it all apart.
Thought to be the sole survivor of the Elru, Dominia Yizkor was taken up to Solaris by Commander Ramsus and trained as his Element of Earth, saving her from the Soylent system. And upon her lay the ghosts of an entire people, laid waste to fufill a whim more than an actual purpose...
But was that the end of the Elru, in truth? Or was there more to this story of crumbling ashes and overgrown streets?
As a note, these logs were demanded in large amounts from various RPers, and so are old, contain large amount of minor conversations, etc, etc. They have been edited for spoilers for some people, but we may not have picked up all of them. If you are in one of these logs and want a part (or the entire thing) removed, simply ask Dominia or Kelvena. It's that simple. (^_^)

So I Am Not the Only One Left...: On yet another trip to her wasted homeland, Dominia encounters a rather unexpected surprise in the form of Haniel... who is equally shocked to see her. ((4/30/00))
Through the Grey Evening Skies.: Awww! Haniel shows off his ability to deal with the thousands of doves in Elru, and even gets one to eat from Dominia's hand. And... the Dove Refrain is a cute little song! (^_^) ((5/7/00))
The Gift of the Mind. Of the Soul.: Haniel continues to carve while waiting for Dominia upon the hill, making a better bench this time for them both. Talk turns to the Commander, the nature of the destruction of Elru, and Haniel carves something nice for Dominia. ((5/21/00))
Almost as if it Washes the World Clean...: Dominia, disturbed by Senchei's words to her about how the Element wastes herself seeking the Commander's approval, flies out to Elru once more to calm her thoughts. Haniel, having nothing better to do with his time, continues to carve the bench. The Element appears once more before a sudden rainstorm strikes... and Haniel and Dominia shelter under a blanket together while they talk about rain and the land. ((5/29/00))
The Heavens Go On For Eternity.: Continuing his work as a whittler, Haniel bestows a gift upon Dominia to help calm her heart while she is off in Solaris. The Element expresses worry for Haniel's well-being, and then promptly... asks Haniel to go for a flight with her. Hey, the ruins of one's hometown can be awfully depressing, y'know! The two of them have a picnic outside of Dazil which breaks the log up into several, unfinished parts, where Joseph and Ikken_Hisatsu appear, Luka, Mikoto and Sirus stop by, and Ramsus himself stops to stare at exactly why his Element of Earth is sitting on a checkered tablecloth with a stranger. And the offer of a dance is made... ((7/12/00))
But I Got You a Plant Instead!: That's... some holiday gift, all right. Miriam, the semi-assistant to the Elements, bounces by to wish Dominia all the best with the seasons, and mentions offhandedly what she and Dr. Kalval had been originally been toying with getting the Element of Earth. Only Trust is Needed.: To finish up the letter already started when Miriam had interrupted her, Dominia includes the conversation and stops by to visit Haniel. The two consider the future, and just what it could mean. (Warning: Spoilers.. if you hadn't guessed already. (^_^)) ((1/4/01))
This Entire World is Psychotic as of Late.: The idea of being a mother is one that Dominia has to get used to, though! She meets Kelvena in the bar of Jessie's Dream, and they both talk a little, about what's on Dominia's mind. ((1/28/01))
We'll Have to Get Safety Seats for Bladegash.: On a sunny hillside in Elru, Dominia and Haniel sit and... pick baby names from a very strange book? Apparently. ^.^;; And they talk about the future that they see for Elru too. ((2/9/01))
And I'll Come When You Call...: And things just get... stranger and cuter for the Earth Element! For now she's in Nisan, going shopping with Haniel for clothes for the children, who are soon to be born. Dominia has all the luck. ^.^ ((4/13/01))
