It is a very rare moment in which Dirah drops all of her high-and-mighty attempt to be more reasonable than everyone else and actually allows herself to be -giddy-. That competition left her in such high spirits! And yet, how could it not? They did such a wonderful, wonderful job, and performed so flawlessly well... And everyone applauded ever so honestly. It went off without flaw, without suspicion and now.. Now Dirah is simply -happy-. For there is a rhythm to her steps as she walks the Dark Ygg's hallways now, humming a break or two of a stanza of 'Reversed Intentions'. And all the while proving that, yes, she can walk, hum, and brush her hair all at once. Having her hair up in braids so long didn't do it terribly well apparently. Although the silver-streaks of her hair do give it an odd little appearance.
There's nothing more fun than being giddy, all this has just left Tifa insanely giddy. She giggles as she finally unbraids her hair, letting the long coils fall over her shoulder, and grabs her brush. As she begins stroking her hair with it, she looks at Dirah, "That was such a rush! I am so glad we could do this!" yes, yes, for once she finally got to realize what her favorite singer, Rani, felt like. Being adored by all those people, she must live an absolutely extravagant lifestyle, and while Tifa is glad she could be Rani for 15 minutes, she's still kinda happy to be back on the Dark Yggdrassil. All those people staring at her, it was so unnerving in a way...but really e..exciting (let's go on a wonderful adventure Lun-aaaa)!
Pah, forget trying to be Rani for 15 mintues. Dirah is more than happy to be giddy simply because she went out there and performed with her own glorious talent and.. Look! See? Everyone adored it! And to think that she was never encouraged to continue down the road to becoming a professional singer in Kislev! Well, ego patting and dreaming aside, Dirah is, well, happy. Simply. And she turns to Tifa with a grin, "Wasn't it? That was wonderful! I haven't had that much fun in ages.. And I can't believe how we actually got Ceren to help with it, too!" And there is such -cheer- in that voice, really. "And did you hear the applause at the end? I think we actually did a really good job up there."
Tifa nods in wholehearted agreement with Dirah, "And noone will ever be able to trace this back to us, i'm almost glad the Fatimas were in the audience to see us perform. It only drove me to do that much better! We did so well, too!" she continues stroking her hair with the brush, imagining all the applause, replaying that moment in her head over and over. Let Dirah stroke her ego for now, we all deserve that at least once in awhile. Now if Dirah wouldn't resolve to try it all the time...
Oh, but isn't it a pity that can't be helped? After all, Dirah does so -many- things right that praising them all takes nearly.. Well, all the time she has. So it can't be helped if Dirah is giving herself a well earned pat on the back.. A lot. Its just one of those happy little quirks about her that you learn to smile through or go completely mad from. "Wasn't that the slightest bit -odd-, though, don't you think?" She pauses from all her gleeful cheer to blink back to that moment, catching Bart and his 2nd in command watching from the less noticeable back parts of the crowd. She frowns, more a gesture of thought than anything else, before resuming brushing her own hair. Must brush out the million tiny frizzes caused by braiding! As that's much more important than thoughts on Fatimas. "I wonder why they were there. And in Gebler uniforms, too. But nonetheless, that made it all the more fun! I -do- hope they appreciated our song. It was, in many ways, inspired by them, after all."
Tifa smiles, "Mostly. I...did think it was pretty odd...but everyone likes music, even people like that. I don't doubt they were just there to enjoy the concert...but...I don't know, maybe it was nothing. At least, I hope not," she turns to a mirror, a bit of a frown forming on her face.
Dirah chuckles softly in response, "You know, you might be right... I might be exaggerating, just in wonder if we managed to fool them once again." Ah, a little admittance that perhaps she was going off on the purpose of ego? And yet, another chuckle, as if that, too, could be dismissed as something just oddly amusing, "Its probably no big deal. If nothing else, I'm grateful they -were- there.. It gave me reason to sing all that better, too." And a smile, as she picks up a simple hairband, in an attempt to pull back her hair for the moment, now that she's brushed it half to death, "We'll just hope it was nothing, then. Its not like they'll ever connect the 'new GA-GS recruits' with us anyway, no matter what they were up to."
Tifa still can't shake what Kale had said. "...I don't know...," she starts brushing her hair again. "I just can't shake that though, that something might be off about this whole thing," oh, what is she saying! She's supposed to be enjoying herself! Right, she's just being utterly stupid. "Hm...I guess it's nothing then," she replies to Dirah, "Or at least, I hope."
Dirah finally finishes pulling back her hair. At which point, well, Tifa's not using all the mirror, so Dirah can catch a glance in it while she stands behind Tifa, just to fix her bangs and crtitique the look in general while she's at it, "Hm? Well, you might have a valid point..." Since Dirah has actually taken almost everything that's happened at face value and really not given any thought to worrying.., "What's got you somewhat worried? Is it just because the Fatima prince and his ill dressed guardian was about? This all very much could be nothing, but..." A pause to grin. For, once again, Dirah always knows best, "Its our job to try and be as aware of what's going on as possible. So everything's worth consideration."
Tifa shrugs slowly, "Maybe so," she starts to work on tying her hair into something that will keep it off the ground now. "Say...what do you think we should do now, Dirah? I haven't heard from headquarters in a long time..."
Hum, well, have it your way. Such things aren't really terribly worth worries anyway, right? Because the personas that were involved in Dazil have nothing to do with the JNK Yggdrasil, and thus.. Does it matter? They had their fun and now they can go back to being spies, and keep cheerfully out of Dazil lest their singing popularity catch up with them. It all works out so simply. Why worry more than necessary? "You know.. I don't really know." Which is bad, because we all know that in Dirah's world, she's the real thought and inspiration behind the doings on this ship. "Headquarters hasn't given us an order in a while.. Which, I hope, means that they have nothing much in mind for us, and not that the messanger was lost or found... Were you given even a hint of what we were supposed to do after post-tournament information gleaning?"
Tifa shakes her head, "Nope. It's...rather unsettling," as she finishes tying her hair, she stands up. "I'm going to go double check, just in case. It's probably just something I missed in all the excitement, right?" she giggles, well...at least she's trying to break up the serious atmosphere.
Well, there's nothing wrong with that in the least, is there? Because everyone needs a little nonserious wondering now and then.. And its especially true on a job like this. So far from home, wouldn't most everyone on this ship go mad if they had to be serious every breathing moment of their days here? And so Dirah nods, yet grinning, "You do that. It'd be easy to miss something while we were preparing and practicing for the tournament. And then we can be off to do more crossdressing!" See, Dirah can jest too! And, unsurprisingly, she can jest about fashion. Bet no one ever saw that coming.
