Sleepwalking While Dreaming: The Dreamers of Khiea

While Khiea-RPer keeps a collection of logs that her character has experienced, others have had brief stints of time within the Dream (Citan, we're looking at you when we say that). Hence, the logs, much like the Dream itself, have grown beyond a single girl.

As a note, these logs were demanded in large amounts from various RPers, and so are old, contain large amount of minor conversations, etc, etc. They have been edited for spoilers for some people, but we may not have picked up all of them. If you are in one of these logs and want a part (or the entire thing) removed, simply ask Dominia or Kelvena. It's that simple. (^_^)

Logs:

Beginnings: The Dream originated as a means of escape for Khiea from the world which had brought her so much pain. Dreamers were drawn in without much rhyme or reason, and, overall, the Dream was a very confusing place indeed.

And Do You Mean to Kill Her?: After Adesha, Khiea's comatose body was placed inside the Ezekiel's Quiet Ward to heal. Tending over her is Luka, who takes advantage of the time to go over the Adesha notes and to blame herself. In the midst of this, who should arrive but Ramsus... who is displeased over recent events. To draw the irate Commander's attention away from Khiea, Luka chooses to take the man's anger upon herself... ((7/23/00))
For the Record, Elru Wasn't Bright Pink.: Solaris, thrown into a large amount of disarray, suffers from bouts of poor dreams, headaches, and no true rest after Khiea's uncontrolled dream begins to affect those around her. The Dining Hall--with its coffee machine--suddenly becomes the new Lounge, with an exhausted Dominia fending off the inquiries from Miriam and Asher about her health. ((7/25/00))
I Am Not a 'Poor Thing'.: Dominia, continuing to suffer in various ways from the amount of happy dreams keeping her from a night of restful sleep, tries to keep from glaring at a far-too-happy Karen. Kiara chats with Luka briefly about Adesha and her own dreams, and finally Dominia ends up being dealt with by Luka herself. ((7/27/00))
How can you think it's bad /not/ to suffer too, Luka?: Asher stops by the Quiet Ward to drop off lunch for Luka, and the two end up eating in the Ezekiel Lounge and speaking with Sirus about the dreams stalking the Solarian population. ((7/28/00))
Are /You/ a Fairy Too?: The Magical Fairies and the Fairy King! Karen and Luka have a brief discussion over Karen's experience with Khiea's dreams, and Clarth stops by to contribute. Eventually Dominia staggers in, feeling better finally after a forced night's rest. Ramsus also shows up for a very brief cameo. ((7/28/00))
Do You See the Logic of Exchanging One Girl for One Nation?: Luka, after hearing that the Yggdrasil is being affected too, heads down to the Pirate Base to investigate. Meeting Ryan_Jackson, they fall to discussions of morals, and children as weapons. ((7/29/00))
I have been here /how/ long?: All seems well once Citan has thrown himself into stablizing the Dream, but one tricky little issue arises... what about Citan's health? As he continues to remain in his coma, Sigurd and Maison worry, and then Sigurd and Jessie come to see what they can do in the Dream itself. ((8/1/00))
Why Not Just Give Them a Pill?: Karen and Luka may not be subjected to quite the same pains as the rest of Solaris, both managing to catch enough sleep, but Karen is having a much different time of it than Luka. The conversation eventually turns to what Karen's life in Solaris is like at the moment. ((8/2/00))
Khiea as a Gate Generator?: In the Ezekiel Lounge again, Luka, Asher, and Clarth try to figure out how best to handle Khiea's situation. The tension between Clarth and his former commander continues to lurk. ((8/4/00))
Instant summary of Adesha, Ministers?: Asher, expecting an intruder into Cain's Throne Room, finds only Luka doing her work. The two talk about current events and Ryukumu before one of the Ministers appears, demanding a recap of Adesha. ((8/10/00))
We All Must Eat a Little Dirt Before We Die: Kelvena stops by for a visit with Luka, just after the Doctor returns from a trip to Bledavik. Discussions over the Dream, the Commander, and dreaming itself ensue. ((8/11/00))

Formations: With the integration of Citan's logical mind to the Dream, the land found a strange stability. Nightmare no longer swamped dreamers at whim. But it was a surreal, and often painful, series of changes for Khiea and Citan both... and for those who cared about them. Unbalanced between even their own ages, the dreamers must find a new stability in themselves to work from.

Count the Measure of What You Call Your Love: Released from the Dream at last to stagger around half-awake, Citan stumbles into Sigurd's room just as his friend is being visited by... Miang. Miang has a demand of her own to make, and a few bad memories to bring up. Citan replies with a certain sharpness newly rediscovered after Nightmare. ((8/12/00))
Meanwhile, in Gebler...: Har and Clarth find a few drinks in Dazil. They talk about Gears, about wine, and about Jugend and death. Har is his usual cheerful self, but Clarth is disturbed... both by the dreams and by recent events involving Ryukumu. ((8/14/00))
So /this/ is what the Commander dreams about.: In a gathering of former comrades, Ramsus, Sigurd, and Citan congregate around a field full of fireflies and stars. As can be expected, none of them are quite... themselves. ((8/16/00))
I'm as Old as I Am: The next night, Ramsus appears once more. This time, Jessie joins the party of the Commander, Sigurd, and Citan. Is it any wonder that the most pragmatic of them all is also the one who manages to retain his own sanity? ((8/17/00))
My Bear! Mr. Frontal Lobotomy!: Rani, Casske, Talon and Sigurd appear in the Dream while Khiea and Citan entertain their guests. ((8/20/00))
Tea, anyone?: Citan may be awake, but half his mind is still woven into the Dream, after all. It temporarily embodies an old, stuffed bear to try and politely greet Rani and Ryukumu. ((8/21/00))
It's as if the Dream is Controlling Him...: As time progresses, Citan is drawn deeper and deeper into the collective world between himself and Khiea. Forgetting even the present day, and sometimes only serving as a functionary interface between visiting dreamers and Khiea, Citan greets Rani, Juniper, and Talon for a short while. ((8/28/00))
Thanks for the concussion, Minister!: But what happened to Citan after Krelian recovered Khiea from him? Har appears out of nowhere to tend to the weakened Doctor, and has a cryptic message for Khiea. And, errr, Har... do you only become serious when no one's looking? ((9/3/00))
All the Better to Bash Your Head in for: Dominia makes another appearance in the Dream, this time with Juniper and Talon. Citan, drawn by the presence of dreamers in his search for Khiea's mind, stops to ensure their safety against the newly reawakened perils of the Dream. And, for the first time, Citan briefly thinks about the Dream establishing itself as something greater... ((9/3/00))
Let's Go Back: After all that the Dream and Nightmare have done to Sigurd, the pirate finally reaches a time to heal. Citan, too, has managed to put back the shards of his mind, coming out of the experience stronger. He is there to close off Nightmare as best he can, against Sigurd's empathy, and to escort his friend out. ((9/4/00))
A Rose from the Ministry: Hinting to the Gazel Ministry's Dinah plotline, Roni delivers a rose to the newly awakened Citan. Thank goodness for autopilot to get back to Aveh. ((9/4/00))
Normal is becoming an abnormality: After Khiea's ill-fated attempt to go see the Aquavy Oceans with Citan, Ryan_Jackson checks in with Luka in the Quiet Ward. Roni makes his presence known, and the conversation falls into a reaffirmation that everyone is important in one way or another... and that sometimes, being normal is better than not. Morality appears here again, as does the topic of children as tools. ((9/23/00))

Potentials: After Khiea was persuaded at last to wake from her self-induced coma, and spend at least part of her time awake, Citan also woke. But what of the Dream now?

I Saw the Minister There...: Rani, Citan, and Jessie meet in the dream again. Coherant at last--in ways that can be frightening in the dream, without Citan's usual need to tone down his observations--conversation turns to Khiea's recent caroling at the Desert Base. ((12/18/01))
You Came for Me: Having been kept at the Ethos for the last few months while he works on the Dream, Citan finally wakes up to return to the Pirate Base at last. But how does he plan to get home? The answer lies with Sigurd, who comes to fetch him home again. ((12/20/00))
Even while incoherant, Citan still investigates.: Recovering in bits and pieces, Citan encounters an Etone named Brin in the desert base. The two talk, and eventually conversation winds its way to topics of Dazil, the Gebler, and loyalties. ((1/2/01))
Any room for another Element?: Goodness. (x_x) After a massive amount of forces run into the same room in Dazil, they simply end up... staring at each other for a lot of it. Originally, Kelvena drags Seraphita and Tolone down to Dazil to pick up reports. Well, Tolone had a sort of side plan in store, and Seraphita was supposed to get exercise. (^_^) There, they encounter none other but a sleepy Citan, in mental shock just after Krelian's abandoning of Khiea, supported by Sigurd and Jessie. Elements old and new glare at each other before Seraphita and Tolone have to depart for ooc reasons, leaving Kelvena... er... at the gate. (^_^) Khiea comes in, thankfully, and breaks the moment. ((1/5/01))
Shatter It All. Destroy It.: The first part of this log was lost, unfortunately. *whimpers* But it set the scene in Nightmare for a discussion between a very upset Khiea, who had recently been rejected by Krelian, and a very scarey Citan. On second thought, maybe it wasn't so bad to lose that part. (X_x) ((1/6/01))
I Do Not Dream of This.: Kelvena and Dominia appear in Khiea's Dream again, rather unexpectedly, and encounter a young Etone known as Brin. Essentially it's the same log as the one on Brin's page, spare it has the last two poses of the Elements before they, too, go to bed. (^_^) ((1/7/01))
Can't you play anymore, Citan?: Citan, sensing the activity in his Dream, goes to discover Xeero, Ildon, and Sigurd already there. After a short disturbance, Ildon leaves and the mood is lightened at last by Sigurd. Everyone RPed until very late, so things got strange near the end... or rather, stranger. (^_^) ((1/14/01))
I Do Not Dream of This /Either/!: Apparently the Dream was so good the first time, Dominia and Kelvena had to come back for a second round! This time, there is no Etone, but the two end up... in a rather strange setting, especially when compared to the pastal scenery and snow-covered fields of the other two Dreams. The two of them take advantage of the time to sit up and realize that no one, /no one/ (okay, spare a few people) likes to keep the Elements aware of current events. ((1/15/01))
Will Even You Condemn Me?: Origins of the new additions to the Dream are revealed when Sigurd and Jessie show up to have a little chat with Citan. First they travel to the bar of Jessie's Dream, and then to the desert of Sigurd's, before Sigurd and Citan have a discussion which seems to... trouble the former Element of Water. ((1/18/01))
How Lucky They Are Who Do Not Realize...: Not quite in the Dream, but talking about it, Luka and Sigurd meet in the Yggdrasil in the Nisan docks to talk about Khiea's condition, Citan's state of mind, and life. Shortly after, they depart to join the log on Khiea's page. ((1/19/01))
Oh, What a Nice Web of Insanity.: Citan rests in the Cathedral while Khiea and Sage have a conversation far elsewhere. His contribution is to attempt to calm Sage down, but he is interrupted by the arrival of Fei and Sigurd. A strange example of Khiea and Citan. (O_o) ((1/26/01))
I Have a Request.: In a very... interesting encounter, Citan meets Metatron in the Nisan Cathedrel one night, after being asked to come down one night. And Metatron poses a strange request, that disturbs both it, Citan, and the girl who watches from behind Citan's eyes... ((1/26/01))
Just Dreaming By?: Back in the Dream itself, Khiea and Citan calm down with a cup of cocoa. Sigurd and Jessie come by, and Sigurd extends his idea about the upcoming Aveh Tournament, before getting upset, and leaving abruptly. ((1/26/01))
You Were the One Who Wanted Me to Remember.: Sigurd and Citan meet in the deserts of Sigurd's Dream, and the desert pirate is not in the happiest of moods, after clashing against Bart's opinion of the Aveh Tournament. ((1/29/01))
Are we all... only memories?: After a conversation with Metatron, a rather disturbed Citan meets with Jessie in the bar of the other man's Dream. And Citan, even though distressed... is also seriously thinking. (Incomplete) ((1/31/01))
Are we all... continued?: As the talk between Jessie and Citan continues, Sage joins the two of them. ((2/10/01))
I see you, Minister.: As Krelian speaks harshly to Khiea on the plains of Nisan, a distracted Citan attempts to have tea with Sage, and then later, with Brin. ((2/10/01))
She Was Like That When We Found Her.: After finding Primera in the Dream, Citan rests with Sage, Primera, and Khiea after the meeting in the snow. Jessie appears, and the dream is interrupted before he can have more than a few answers. ((2/16/01))
Things are Full of Dreams!: People who read up on the exploits of Khiea and Citan might notice the truth of this log (also shown in the Tournament logs!) Here's the explanation for /why/ Citan was laughing like a lunatic in the middle of Bledavik while Sigurd and Xeero stared at him. ((3/10/01))
Another of Krelian's Plans?: Khiea's been very calm these days, hasn't she? And very distracted too. ^.^ This might be because she has an Ex-Water Element in her head, who is only too happy to smile and pay attention in ways she does not... ((3/10/01))
