((Logged 7/30/2000)) Dazil's Water Tower Contents: Miriam Kale has arrived. Kale walks down the road, looking around. He seems faintly annoyed at something. Miriam sits up against one of the walls, shaded from the punishing afternoon desert heat. She drinks from the iced glass of fruit juice she picked up from one of the vendors. With a yawn, she leans back again and happily whiles away the day. Kale looks around, glancing at the vendors, but doesn't seem to find who he's looking for. Noticing the women siting against the wall, he begins to walk over. Miriam takes a careful drink from her glass, and continues to watch the crowd. As she sees Kale approach, she blinks at him in curiosity, but doesn't say anything as he makes his way over. Kale nods toward Miriam. "I'm sorry to bother you, but I'm looking for somebody." Miriam tilts her head to better see the stranger, making no remark about the Kislevi accent. "All right. Who are you looking for?" Kale 's tail twitches as he relizes that he forgot to mask his accent. "Have you seen a Dr.Citan around here, by any chance?" Miriam blinks calmly, and replies. "What does he look like?" Kale thinks for a moment. "He's fairly tall, and has black hair and glasses." Kale's ear twitches as a fly buzzes close to his head. Miriam draws her knees up to her chest and thinks. "That's a fairly wide description, unfortunately. Have you tried looking in Bledavik?" Kale tilts his head to the side, thinking. "No...but I'd doubt he'd be there." Miriam taps her feet in the sands. "If you don't think he'll be there, what makes you think he'll be here? Dazil and Bledavik are fairly well connected." Kale says, "That's true, but Dazil is closer to where he lived." Kale frowns for a moment. "Where he USED to live at any rate."" Miriam takes another sip of her drink, and shakes the beading drops of moisture off her hands from the glass. "Where he used to live?" she asks politely. Kale says, "It's nothing. He has a house on the boarder between Aveh and hom- Kislv, but "he doesn't seem to visit it often nowadays." Miriam shifts her feet while her knees stiffen, and slides her legs back down again. "I see. Well, it's been so quiet here in Dazil... I recommend Bledavik again. Maybe you can run into someone who can give him a message." Tilting her head again, she adds, "Are you in need of medical attention? There are other doctors around here, I know." Kale shakes his head. "No, it's not that. He saved my life, and I need to thank him, and I need to talk to him." Miriam nods, brushing sand off her jacket. "Well, as I said before... good luck with finding him." Kale begins to leave. "Thank you. And...bye the way, you don't know a Julian, do you?" Miriam blinks, surprised by the question. "I ran into him recently around here, yes. Are you looking for him too?" Kale eyes harden. "Not really, but if he's around..." Kale shakes his head. Kale has disconnected.
