Dazil's Water Tower
A huge water tower of strange, metallic pipes stands like a proud monument here. The burning sun glints off the precious, life-giving structure with a nearly blinding effect, catching upon the side of the structure, where a shining ladder stands. Small, cubical houses lie scattered on the side of the large street, all similar in shape and all of the same sand-tinged while tone. A small company for the renting of sand vehicles stands near a small house standing near the tower, blocked by scattered tires, which appears to behouse standing near the tower, blocked by scattered tires, which appears to be serving as a merchant's post. Across from this house stands one of the small houses of Dazil. The city continues on to the west, and to the north stands a bridge, with many small stores scattered about it. The Housing District of Dazil is located in the main side streets of this area.

Talon idly walks through the roads of Dazil hands in pockets, he cracks his neck idly as he does so. Everything was so boring up in the Ezekiel as usual, and nothing was getting done anywhere else as it was, so he figured a small trip down to the surface would lift his spirits, yeah sure, fat chance of that happening.

A fairly loud yawn splits Dazil's air, as Seargent Kale of the Dazil GA-GS streaches and moves away from the while he was resting against. With Joseph and Casske mysteriously gone, there hadn't been a lot to do in Dazil...bar fights were down 90%, and angry fathers with shotguns were down 100. It certainly made life and work EASIER, but still...it made for boring work hours.

Duran is quickly striding the dusty streets of Dazil, humming with content. Dazil has quieted down considerably, and..."Talon!" he hisses loudly before clamping his hands over his mouth. Quite spontaneously, he ducks into a doorway before sighting Kale on the street. He tries his best to get Kale's attention without giving himself away.

Talon doesn't seem to notice Duran's little outburst, far from it, he's too busy thinking to himself about other things, then he pulls out a small book from a pocket and leans against the water tower and begins writing something, ah poetry, thank god he'd discovered some kind of art he could do.

Kale doesn't notice Talon as he moves away from the wall, yawning again...but he does notice Duran's odd little display. Blinking in a rather confused manner, he slowly makes his way over towards the man, curiously looking at him.

Duran pulls Kale closely to the doorway and points a stubby finger at Talon, who's casually resting against the tower. "It's Talon! You remember him, don't you?!" Duran wipes his forehead with the rough material of his sleeve and continues, "He'll disrupt the peace of this town...you remember what he did to me, right?"

Talon continues writing in the book and then stops glancing up to think of something and then looks back down and resumes writing, ah yes, this one will be fine...not a keeper but it's something.

Kale blinks and raises an eyebrow. Talon, Talon...sounds like a thing, not a person...but he remembers the name. "Oh. Him. ...Actually, I was more caught up in my own problems at the time...so no, I don't remember what he did to you. And right now..." The demihuman glances over at the poet "He doesn't appear to be desturbing much...

Duran shakes his head violently. "He hospitalized me! He had some drive, then turned like..." Duran forces his eyeballs to bulge slightly, and pulls out his ears, "like that, then he almost ate me. Let's just find out what he's doing here...possibly arrest him if he tries the same thing on me again."

Talon reads the new poem over once and nods to himself, closing the book and putting it back in his pocket, he then sighs and stretches, other than the sand this was rather boring...

Kale sighs, as his ears twitch. "Drive. Right. Well...the eating you part I can understand. But he did disturb the peace, didn't he...hmm." Orange eyes look up at the sky for a moment as Kale thinks. "Ok. We'll talk to him."

Duran quickly brandishes his impressive broadsword (which he ably polished last week) and nods as his cape flaps dramatically in the desert wind. "Talon! Stop, you fiend! Stop!"

Talon blinks and looks up staring at Duran, "Eh? What?" he blinks a few times.

Kale 's ears droop. That's not what he me-...ah, heck. Just go with it. "Mr.Talon. I see you've decided to return to Dazil."

Duran 's sword sticks firmly in the ground as he glares at Talon. "Yeah, and I bet you're here for some plot, are you?" He snatches Talon's book and riffles through the pages with his thumb, his eyes skimming over Talon's private poems. "And here are your plans, I see. Oh, might you have any connection with our bombing of the GA-GS headquarters a while ago?" He tosses the book to the ground and grinds his heel into it, and glares again at Talon. "Spill it!"

Talon reaches for the book, "Give that back!" he shoves Duran and grabs the back from the ground making sure it's alright, "What the hell are you talking about?"

Kale sighs, and shakes his head. "Duran, I think you should cut it out...you're just going to start a fight. But, to be fair, last time you were here, Talon, you were rather...agressive."

Duran spits in a cliched movie fashion, and spins the broadsword back onto his back. "Rather aggressive? He put me in the hospital with his little-" He imitates the pose he performed for Kale before, and puffs out his cheeks for added effect. "That! Now, you must be in Dazil for a purpose, so spill the beans on it. Don't just tell me you're here for a peaceful time, because I won't believe it."

Talon grumbles and pockets the book, "Look, I don't know what your talking about, and frankly I find it insulting that you would accuse me of such acts. You sure I'm the right person?"

Kale blinks, and squints at Talon for a moment as his tail taps the ground. "...So, you're telling me you're NOT Talon?"

Duran is a bit disarmed by Talon's candor, but is determined not to show it. "Whaddaya mean, am I sure? Of course I'm sure! You drank that watery stuff, turned into..." Duran considers doing that fantastic pose again, but decides against it. "That thing. And now you walk casually into Dazil like you own it, 'hey hey, I'm Talon, I'm a peace-lover and I've never been in a fight in my life.' You have to admit this is very suspicious!"

Talon says, "Last time I checked I was Talon, but are you sure there aren't two?"

Kale shrugs, and a thoughtful expression crosses his face. and glances at Duran. "You handle this. I'm going to go check the records." And with that, he's off.

Duran is not confident without Kale by his side, and stutters. "Well...fine! You stay out of trouble," he says, pointing a stubby finger at Talon. "If I see any black-winged demons or big monsters like," he poofs his cheeks, "Then I'll know exactly who to get!" He stomps off in fear and in the direction of the tavern.
