((Logged 6/7/2000)) Solaris, Practice Room Har has arrived. Karagin has arrived. Karagin walks into the room, his eyes aren't on anything in perticular. He begins to run his hands along the wall of weapons. "Greetings," he says into the wall, meaning for Har. Har looks up from prying off his boots. "Hello." He manages a wave while balancing awkwardly. "Did you want privacy for practice?" Karagin continues to run his hand along the wall as he walks. "No, I did not come here to practice, mearly interested in who was in here at the moment," he says as he looks over to Har. Har pushes his boots to the wall so that they're out of the way. "Really?" For a minute he looks like he'd walk over, try to shake a hand, but then he shrugs in a half-bow. "Pleasure to meet you." Karagin stops, turns and half-bows also. "Pleasure is all mine, Gazel Ministery Personal Assistant Karagin," he says, a smirk on his face. Har nods and brushes his hair back. "Major Har Trepan, Surface-Air Coordinations. Gazel Ministry, right? Should I call you sir?" Karagin shakes his head, "No, that is not required.." He studies Har for a moment and continues speaking, "Surface-Air Coordinations? Interesting, an adept pilot.. How about ground fighting?" Har laughs and takes off his jacket, to throw it over his discarded boots. "Afraid not. I do tactics and assignments, as well as investigations and surviellance. I don't get as involved in personal combat anymore, can't direct troops as efficiently if I'm being run over myself." He grins and waves his hand in a stampeding motion. Karagin gives adbrupt chuckle before saying, "Well, then what are you in here for? Honeing up on your personal combat which your not good at?" Har shrugs and walks out onto the mat with his bare feet. "Just because I don't get assigned to the front lines, doesn't mean that I shouldn't keep myself in shape." He chuckles. "Active mind, active body. And it's usually quiet in here." Karagin hmms and agrees with a nod. "I agree with you, and I have noticed it has been rather quiet in here... I do believe most of the important people are off on secret assignments," he says. Ryukumu has arrived. Har begins to stretch out his legs and smiles. "Not enough though. But there are new people here, they could provide some fresh life. We need that too. Like Ryu here," and he waves hello. Ryukumu blinks hearing his name mentioned as he walks in. As he's walking in he also quickly salutes to the superior officer. Karagin nods to Har while saying, "Yes, fresh life." Hearing the greeting to Ryukumu he looks over and nods, "Greetings Ryukumu, it seems you have made something of yourself lately." Har starts rotating his ankles to get the cricks out. He nods to Ryu. "How're the classes? Hey, is Clarth around? I still need to get a check on your piloting abilities sometime, if it's all right." Ryukumu says to Har lowing the salute, "Classes're normal-- boring. I think I saw Clarth a few minutes ago..." Ryukumu blinks, "Oh, as for piloting and junk, I gotta practice a bit with the new beam rifle before I get an evaluation." Karagin seeing as he isn't much in this conversation at the moment, crosses his arms and leans against the weapon wall, between two axes. Har starts stretching out his fingers with a laugh. "That's true. Here to practice?" He's a conversational master tonight, that's for sure. Ryukumu shrugs, "Not really. It was too quiet in the other room, figured I'd come and see what was going on." Karagin nods and speaks quietly from his spot, "Yes, it has been quiet in that room for awhile.. Karen doesn't seem to be that talkative.. Maybe it is my goulish features." He chuckles evilly. Ryukumu decides to go along with what seems to be a joke and says, "Might be. ^_^" Har moves over to the far mats to give Ryu room. "Practiced with your sword lately? Always good to keep moving." He grins at Karagin. "The entire lounge has been almost dead. Maybe we're all just ghosts." Karagin grins at Har while he pushes a lose blonde hair out of his face and he begins to walk back into the Lounge. Ryukumu shrugs, "Practiced a little lately... I'd go practice with the new beam cannon but Hydra's still having some minor upgrades being done to it. That and I don't really have anything to practice shooting it with." Har waves to Karagin as the man departs. "Nice to meet you again, Karagin. Want to go set up targets with Hydra?" Ryukumu shrugs, "Like I said, 's still being upgraded. Might be done though." Karagin has left. Har snaps his fingers a few times and a thin spark blossoms in his palm. "If you want, when I go back on shift I can register some target drones for you to use for later. I use them anyway to check on soldier's capabilities. But they're not being used right now, so they're stored on the first deck." Ryukumu nods. "I see. Lemme check something." Pulls out his handy-dandy PDA and presses the screen on a few areas with the stylus pen. Blinks. "'Upgrades completed'?" Looks rather surprised. "Wonder what else they did to Hydra." Har starts twisting out the little fire like a thread between his fingers. "Going out?" Ryukumu nods. "You bet!" Runs out of the room, apparently heading towards the western part of the first level Gear bay Ryukumu has left.
